PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT TO OPEN AT MEMORIAL AND
SERVE AS TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES
Exhibit features many of America's leading photographers
WASHINGTON, D.C. (APRIL 17, 2003) An exhibit featuring photos from the new book "A Day in the Life of the United States Armed Forces" will open to the public on May 9th at the Women In Military Service For America Memorial, located at the Ceremonial Entrance to Arlington National Cemetery.
From May 9 to July 8, 2003, over 60 of the book's more than 300 photographs and stories will be on display at the Women's Memorial. The exhibit is a pictorial documentary and tribute to the men and women of the military, as documented by the world's leading photographers (including a dozen Pulitzer Prize winners) who traveled the globe to capture images of United States military personnel on a single day last fallOctober 22, 2002.
The book will be published by HarperCollins Publishers on May 13, 2003. The Boeing Company is the exclusive underwriter of this project.

Exhibit will feature photos from world-famous photographers who participated in the projectincluding Pulitzer Prize winners Jay Dickman, David Hume Kennerly and Brian Lanker, as well as other civilian and military photographers.
